I cancelled YW last night because of the deluge of rain and several of our families have to travel, so didn't want them driving in the dark on flooded roads. So the Hall Family made the most of our time together on a rainy night...

First, we made my favorite Chili's Restaurant dish, Monterey Chicken, with a twist...we made it as a panini. It was just as much fun making them as eating, as we all helped. Kate took already grilled chicken pieces and warmed them up with some BBQ sauce in a pan. Then Ashley microwaved some already cooked bacon and I grated up some monterey jack cheese. Christian cut some hard deli rolls and Robert put it all together and pressed in panini grill...add some sun chips and yum!!!

Second, it had been awhile since we played UNO...just plain UNO...we have just about every different version of the game: H2O, Disney, Stacko, Attack, etc. Now you must know that Ashley is our card shark when it comes to this game! Well, she only won one game, but it was Girls' Night as Robert and Christian were shut out of the winners' circle.

Our family loves games...the many that we have took over the linen closet in the hallway and is busting at the seams! We get new ones each Christmas or birthday and love spending time learning new games, teaching them to others, and to just spend fun time together!
