Safe and Warm

Our local weathermen have had my children glued to the news to see if they would be out of school yesterday and today...they were in school both days. It didn't get as cold as fast as the forecast said and locally we just got a dusting this morning and the roads were clear. My kids were surprised that I woke them up at the normal time this morning, expecting to be out of school with the predicted ice headed our way. We were fortunate with just the dusting. Just to the north of us, there are over 200,000 homes and businesses in Arkansas out of power and plenty of others in other states in the same predicament. We pray that the weather will warm up so the energy crews can get everyone back on the grid soon.
