Diving Board Plus Rescue

Today, Movie Girl chose to jump off the diving board for the first time...helped that she was bribed by a candy bar, too, LOL...she had practiced yesterday in 5 ft depth water to jump in and not touch bottom or sides and gain some confidence in her swimming abilities. The following video is of her 2nd jump...obviously she survived the 1st...and the boy who jumped before her, had to be rescued...watch the lifeguard dive in...Movie Girl is totally unaware of what's going on.

This is Movie Girl and me after her first jump. "How was it?"
"Two thumbs up!!!" she exclaimed. She jumped off probably 5 more times.

Eddie, the boy who needed rescuing, was alright...he sat out for awhile after that. I thought he was waiting for the girl in front of him to get off the ladder.
And a giant thanks to Casey, the lifeguard, who was doing his job...making sure we have a fun, but safe time while at the pool.
